Look for healed photos, not fresh ones. Fresh work always looks sharp; only a healed piece shows whether the artist's lines and shading held. Ask for them — any good artist has them.

What a quote covers
The price is for the finished piece as described. If you change the design, the size or the placement afterwards, expect the price to change with it. Ask whether touch-ups are included.

Your deposit
The deposit is paid to us online and confirms your booking. The rest goes to the shop in person on the day. Keep your reference — it is on every message and on your booking page.

If you are visiting
Say so when you send your idea, and give your dates. A large piece may need more than one sitting, and an artist would rather tell you that up front than start something they cannot finish before you fly home.

Healing here
Sun and sea water are the two things that will damage a fresh tattoo, and Puerto Vallarta has plenty of both. Ask your artist directly how long to stay out of the ocean. It is usually longer than people want to hear.
