Describe it, get a price, pay a deposit.

There is no list price for a tattoo, so nothing here pretends there is. You tell a shop what you want, they come back with a number, and you only pay once you are happy with it.

1. Send your idea

Describe the piece, roughly how big, where on your body, and whether you want colour. Add a reference image if you have one. It costs nothing and commits you to nothing.

2. Talk it through

The shop replies in the same thread. Most will ask a question or two — size, placement, how much of the arm you want to use — before they can price it properly.

3. Get a quote

They send a price for the finished piece, with the deposit and the balance broken out. If it is not right, say so: a lower price for a smaller piece is a normal conversation, not an insult.

4. Pay the deposit to confirm

Accepting a quote opens a secure Stripe checkout for the deposit. That confirms the work. The balance is paid to the shop in person on the day, by whatever means they take.

5. Agree a date

Once the deposit clears, the shop sets your appointment in the thread. There is no live calendar here on purpose — artists book around sittings, not slots.
